Cutting Site and Wood Yard
Cutting Site
The cutting site is set up for long logs. Decortication/barking, the cylindrical milling of the log’s foot, as well as the cutting to size, are fully automated procedures. Every log is computer-analysed and a special software optimises the cutting of each log so that the customers’ orders are adapted to the logs’ dimensions. Every log is measured and each section’s destination on the yard pre-destined before the cutting. The process of cutting the log is fairly flexible and the cutting schemes vary from trunk to trunk.
Wood yard
Our wood yard stretches over about 2000 m2 and is divided into several boxes, in which the cut to length wood sections are stored according to their size.
